OpenEngagement Quick UploadOverview | Quick Upload Versions | Screen Shots | Roadmap | Download Improve the way you work Quick Upload provides a simple means to upload large numbers of files of any type (including Word, Excel, Power Point, PDF, tax, scanned image files, Working Papers engagement files, or any others). This allows Quick Upload to be used, for example, by firms who do not use Working Papers and therefore can not use the Go-Between. Quick Upload also allows firms to initialise their DMS. Quick Upload has features which allow firms to not only upload all their documents at once, but to, at the same time, create the initial structure of their DMS. Quick Upload can parse the metadata from Working Papers client files or take the existing folder structure to create the site organization of the DMS, saving users from having to define areas or entities within the DMS. Quick Upload's design allows users to specify the files to be uploaded and their target locations within the DMS or KMS while files already specified are uploaded in the background. This allows Quick Upload to work very efficiently. Quick Upload also allows users to specify metadata, workflow states, and user permissions for the files. Users may additionally use Quick Upload to send scanned images to the DMS or KMS. Quick Upload allows users to monitor directories and automatically pick up all files added to those directories. Firms may, then, use a scanner to create image files in a directory and have Quick Upload automatically send them to the server.
