Get Involved
There are many ways to get involved with the OpenEngagement community.
Among these are contributing to product documentation or to the products
themselves. Community members may also suggest other directions in which
OpenEngagement may support the accounting and auditing communities.
To contribute to our current product, OpenEngagement CMS users may:
- Beta test upcoming versions
- Provide translations of the user interface or documentation into other languages
- Post bugs and feature requests
- Test the software
- Help develop documentation
- Send OpenEngagement information about your firm's experience with OpenEngagement. What
site organizations, systems for assigning staff permissions, and other such
decisions worked best. OpenEngagement will use this information to develop tips for
other new users.
- Provide modifications to OpenEngagement DMS. The source code is open source and so may be modified. Users do not have to modify OpenEngagement DMS at the source code level, however. Users may modify configuration settings or otherwise experiment and develop improved means to work with OpenEngagement DMS and may give these back to OpenEngagement for inclusion in subsequent releases.
- Help develop products used by OpenEngagement. See the contributors page for more information.
