OpenEngagement software is always free to download and use. You pay only for services such as installation, hosting and maintenance (our Hosted Solution) or support services such as training, customization and printed documentation. Unlike many document management systems, OpenEngagement does not require you buy a license for any database. Often these significantly increase the cont of document management systems for firms. OpenEngagement allows firms to use SQL databases, but does not require it, as it includes its own database. You can view our pricing here.

As a local solutions customer you may download and use OpenEngagement software free-of-charge. However, you should factor hardware, possible additional software and maintenance costs into your calculations. Will I pay for OpenEngagement's hosted solution?
Hosted solutions users pay annually for the convenience of having OpenEngagement install, host, maintain and upgrade their OpenEngagement installations. You may also contact OpenEngagement to provide you with additional support services.
